Our business has been founded on the production of superb cooked bacon for the fast food chains, manufacturers, the sandwich industry, retailers and caterers.
As founder, owner and Managing Director of Dew Valley Foods, I am proud of the mutually rewarding long-term relationship that we have built up with some many of our suppliers and customers, and our record of innovation.
Dew Valley has always been to the forefront of Innovation when it comes to the production of cooked bacon products. We were the first company in Europe to use Microwave Technology in preparing cooked bacon. This technology has allowed us to guarantee the highest quality for our products and also allows us to further guarantee rasher counts on a per kilo basis. We were also the first Company to market cooked Sweetcure Bacon and Reduced Sodium Bacon along with Applewood Smoked Bacon. Dew Valley is also one of the first companies to fully validate its microwave production facility.
We adhere vigorously to the highest standards in sourcing, preparing, and distributing food products and have BRC "A" level Accreditation. A fully Integrated HACCP system for Quality Assurance is in place, and an ongoing, carefully planned, multi million Euro investment programme and New Product Development Strategy will help build on our success.
